The Planets
Pluto is known by many as the “wrecking ball” planet. It likes to ruck up muck. It likes to test the limits of our boundaries and values in order to usher in a new way. Hopefully, a better way.
Aquarius is known for its ideals of reason, rationality, and the power of the collective to steer its own destiny, especially in the way of universal truths.
Pluto travels VERY slowly. It only changes signs every 248 years. So, when Pluto entered Aquarius (in retrograde) on May 4, 2025, it set in motion a period of major societal shifts, particularly in the realm of technology, social structures, and government.
The last time Pluto journeyed through Aquarius was between 1777 and 1798. This period of time saw the American Revolution, the French Revolution, and the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. It also saw the toppling of the monarchy in France, and the annexation of Crimea by Russia (yes, that annexation). The Age of Enlightenment reached its peak as well, bringing with it prominent thinkers like Voltare, Diderot, and Rousseau and the emergence of the idea of the “social contract” which laid the groundwork for democratic institutions and human rights. Mary Wollstonecraft published A Vindication of the Rights of Woman in 1792, which argued that women should be treated as equal, rational beings (imagine that!), setting the stage for the present day movement for human rights, the civil rights movement, and the LGBTQ+ rights movement that we see today.
By the end of Pluto’s time in Aquarius, in 2044, we can expect our social norms and ideologies to be radically transformed. If the Age of Enlightenment was any indicator, we’re heading into a time of major change.
Imagine what beautiful forms of life might be able to come into the light in the next few decades.
May we reach deep into our hearts for the answers.
Peace and light.
Herbal Support:

Lemon balm dates back to the Middle Ages. Even then, it was used to promote sleep, ease tension, settle digestive discomfort, and improve appetite. This calming herb is part of the mint family, and it is perennial, which means it can typically live for more than two years.
As the name suggests, Lemon balm has a lemon scent to its leaves, and this citrus scent also shows up in the flavors it produces, mainly when it is made into an herbal tea. As a member of the mint family, the mint taste comes through as well.
Goddess Support:
GAIA: Image Credit: Gaia Earth Flowers Goddess
In Greek mythology, Gaia stands as the quintessential embodiment of the Earth itself, revered as the primal Mother Earth goddess. She is the Mother of Life and the Divine Heavens. She is the mother goddess, inhabiting the planet, and offering life and nourishment to all her children. Meditate on Gaia and feel her profound nurturing embrace.
