The coming week brings with it big emotions, deep self reflection, and by the end of the week with the Taurus new moon, a clearer sense of our purpose in this life. Something that has been deep and unconscious and out of our awareness for some time now, is being pinged, like a tuning fork, and is now coming to the surface.
With the Sun, Mars, and Pluto forming a T square with Pluto opposite Mars, we are being pulled into a dynamic and energizing week which will require us to examine who we really are and how we want to show up in the world.
Pluto is a symbol of the things that are private, deep, and potentially vulnerable. It tends to be an intensifier, so it amplifies or deepens whatever it is aspecting. It is also ruthless about authenticity. It likes to compost or clear away anything that is not absolutely necessary or in line with one’s integrity.
Sun is a symbol of ego or identity, what we anchor around, the things we know, things we identify with on a conscious level. It’s also related to our experience of what masculinity means to us both personally and collectively.
Mars is connected to our impulse to act/ to do. It’s also connected to boundaries, protection, and being a guardian or advocate for others. It reminds us of how to show up for ourselves and others.
So when we have this combo coming together, this T square, it amplifies patterns around our sense of power, agency, our autonomy to act, and themes around control and the deep healing (Pluto) that can unfold when we bring our awareness/consciousness (the sun), and our ability to act (Mars) to these particular issues. With Pluto’s extrasensory perceptions and connection to the unconscious and that which is marginalized or rejected, this week connects us to more feeling states.
So you may have feelings that come up this week and be unsure where the feeling is coming from. This experience of taking in the energy and connecting to our individual as well as collective unconscious experience is the gift that Pluto offers us. When we have the Sun squaring Pluto, the sun is helping us to restructure or rebuild our identity or sense of self. Pluto is also helping us to compost or release what is false to us, what we no longer identify with. Mars opposite Pluto helps us integrate what we are coming to understand about ourselves with action, how we want to behave in the world, what we want to do in this life.
So pay attention this week to how you’re feeling, and if you feel particularly activated, maybe take a look at what was leading up to that feeling.
The new Moon in Taurus initiates on April 27th at 3:31am EST. The Moon is connected to the physical body, the material and natural world, the cycles of creation (growth, death, rebirth), how a plant has a seed that starts to sprout (birth), flowers, drops seeds and then decays (death) and a new plant is born (rebirth). Taurus is a fixed sign and is connected to dedication, loyalty, and the practical approach to life, often seeking stability and comfort. The new moon will have moved into Taurus after moving by Pluto, gathering Pluto’s deep self-reflective energy, and then joining the sun in Taurus. The sun is shining a light on this gift that is Pluto and saying to the new moon, hey I have this gift for you. And Mars decides he wants to be there too so he can help everyone know what they need to do next. Something inside our psyche is getting clear and there’s a sense that it wants to move out, to show itself, to stand up and say this is how I feel and who the real me is. And with the North Node in Pisces, we can trust in this next form of ourselves.
With all these varying energies and strong emotions, it will be important to find healthy outlets for releasing them this week. It’s all working to strengthen and stabilize us for long-term, purposeful and sustainable change. Trust in what emerges.

Juno is the Queen of Olympia, protector of committed relationships, protector of women, the feminine, and of childbirth. She has a quality of taking up space and a way of protecting whatever she is committed to and whatever she is creating. Perhaps meditate on her this week and find a sense of security and safety within her energy.
Herbal Support:
Ashwagandha is known to provide support for stress and anxiety due to rejuvinating and balancing properties. These properties may also help in diabetes management. It also has aphrodisiac properties which help in improving stamina. It’s used as a tonic for various nerve-related problems as well as in treating diabetes by stabilizing the body's response to stressful conditions. You may find this herb helpful this week. You can visit this link for information on how to take it.
Wishing you ease, safety, and enjoyment this week.
